About the Position
As an Account Executive you will have an opportunity to be a key strategic contributor. You will take ownership of revenue generation and develop new sales opportunities, working on your own and as a team. You will manage your assigned business development representatives to establish and develop a strategy for identifying and closing new sales opportunities.

As we prepare to scale, we are looking to build our sales team with candidates who aren’t afraid to dive in and compete in this evolving grocery race.

What You’ll Do
- Manage your own leads: utilize online and offline sources to cultivate new leads
- Plan an approach for your book of business; develop and maintain pipeline
- Execute the full sales cycle to attain new business
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals
- Assist in finding the best grocers in the country, identify the decision makers and close the deal
- Work closely with other Account Executives to develop acquisition and expansion strategy on key accounts
- Manage contract negotiations aimed at establishing the foundation of a strong working relationship with our partners
- Conduct regular outreach of calls and occasional in-person meetings using a consultative sales approach
- Use CRM for administrative tasks and to stay organized, forecast sales activity, and process contracts

- 2+ years of experience (inside sales or sales), tech company/startup experience a bonus
- Experience in the SMB market; high-growth or early-stage startup experience is a plus
- Exceptional listening, communication and organizational skills
- A proven history of executing full life cycle sales over the phone and in person
- A customer-focused mindset and consultative sales approach
- Coachability, interest in implementing feedback, and dedication to improvement of your craft with ability to learn quickly
- Able to work independently and comfortable collaborating with cross functional teams
- Highly organized; knowledge of Google Docs, Excel and CRM
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- A love for food and interest in the grocery space
