Where You Come In

Within 3-6 months, you will play a major role in all aspects of people operations:

  • Learning and Development, including employee onboarding, workshops, internal tooling, and our proactive feedback culture
  • Employee pathways, including quarterly reviews, promotions, and employee professional development roadmaps
  • Employee Success, including employee retention, motivation, and experience, especially cross-functional team-building and remote work experience
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, including development and execution of policies, practices, and programs in an equitable and consistent manner
  • Working with many stakeholders including our Culture Committee and leadership team

Pending your experience and interest, potential additional areas of responsibility include:

  • HR admin, including payroll, commission, benefits, HR law, and compliance
  • Hiring, including recruiting, interviewing, and pipeline building

The ideal candidate has:

  • At least 3-6 years experience in People/Talent/HR
  • Demonstrated success with performance management in a high-growth organization (ideally past experience as the first or second HR hire in a company growing from ~40 employees to ~100 employees)
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, with multiple stakeholders with varying needs
  • Experience leading professional development workshops/trainings and employee events
  • Excellent judgment, creative problem-solving, and training/coaching
  • Strong teamwork, communication & cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit/mindset, flexibility toward dynamic change
  • Solid understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment law
  • Experience in a mission-driven social impact environment is a plus
  • HR certification is a plus

Additional Requirements For Remote Candidates

  • U.S. work authorization
  • 75% EST working hours overlap
  • Prior full-time remote experience
