Medumo is a YCombinator-backed start-up that works with top health systems like Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham Health to support patients before and after procedures by delivering timely instructions, reminders, and education through digital channels like text message and email. Hospital Success Associates work hand in hand with our health system clients to design and optimize patient communication programs.

This role combines content design, program testing, program evaluation, and customer service. In order to succeed in this role, you will develop close relationships with a cross-section of hospital stakeholders, an in-depth knowledge of hospital operations, and collaborative internal relationships with Medumo account managers and engineers.


Key Activities

- Research and map the patient journey for specific visit and procedure types

- Interview hospital stakeholders about patient education and compliance pain points

- Develop program structure, messaging, content, and copy based on client requirements and objectives

- Perform QA on digital communication programs before they are deployed with patients

- Gather and incorporate feedback from hospital client stakeholders throughout the implementation process

- Manage support tickets pertaining to programs that are part of your portfolio

- Monitor the performance of programs and develop recommendations for program optimization

- Coordinate with the product team to incorporate and develop best practices related to program design and to help implement new product features

- Support project management and operational tasks associated with program implementations that you are working on

- Coordinate with internal engineering team to ensure client requirements are executed

- Coordinate with Medumo account managers to ensure success and expansion of client relationships


Traits/Qualifications

- Bachelors degree or masters degree related to social science, business, or healthcare

- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience

- Passionate about digital health and driving operational efficiency within clinics and hospitals

- Passionate about designing content and programs to improve patient communication

- Action-oriented problem-solver always seeking to improve processes and deliverables

- Exceptional note-taker

- Superb written and verbal communicator

- Empathic listener who can translate client needs and concerns into actionable plans

- Able to master a multitude of new skills and eager to take on a diverse array of projects
