MediaMelon is looking to expand our growing sales team. The Sales Development Representative will be a key member of MediaMelon’s sales and marketing organization. Our customers are sophisticated video streaming services, carriers and aggregators. The Account Executive will be responsible for driving the adoption of MediaMelon technology into new and existing clients while leveraging Partners and Reseller resources.
• Qualifying and discovery calling, identifying key players, and developing leads. Handling objections and follow-up.
• Consultative sales to client leaders and aggressively shaping deals early in the sales cycle that result in profitable revenue growth. Identifying appropriate client use by truly understanding MediaMelon value-add.
• Scheduling and providing online and in-person product demos and clearly articulating the value proposition of MediaMelon products.
• Understanding customer needs and requirements, and building strategic business relationships
• Demonstrating breadth and depth of knowledge in aligning the company's capabilities to both the client business and priorities, and positioning relative to competitors.
• Thinking beyond the initial sale and renewal to expansion, and driving adoption of MediaMelon technology and products into the wider market.
• Working with MediaMelon sales, product managers, engineers and marketing through closing and onboarding. Collaborate to drive the overall success of the organization.

• Must have 4+ years of full-cycle sales experience preferably in a SaaS subscription / B2B or B2B2C environment.
• Excellent consultative selling experience and the ability to ask the right questions and gain a quick understanding of the client’s needs and how MediaMelon technology can solve those needs..
• Understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level
• Skilled at negotiating business terms with line-of-business, procurement teams and senior management
• Comfortable with building relationships with engineers as well as executive level decision makers at client and partner organizations
• Entrepreneurial, high commercial acumen with well-polished presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to create and prioritize strategic target account lists, and work alongside marketing and channel partners to develop and execute account plans.
• Detail oriented, problem-solving skills, and analytical with a high energy level and ability to succeed in a high growth startup.
• Knowledge of streaming video technologies, over-the-top BA/BS degree, Technical aptitude
• (OTT) video ecosystem and solutions is a plus.
