Maven is looking for a Director of Care Operations to work alongside our Director of Provider Operations and Director of Care Coordination. In this role, you will tackle large strategic questions on how to efficiently scale the services provided by the Care Advocate team, while continuing to drive more positive health outcomes and experiences for members. You will become an expert on Care Advocate responsibilities, and rely on the team’s input and support to design and implement feasible, impactful changes. We are looking for someone who is eager to brainstorm ways that Maven can best serve its members, and can prioritize and focus efforts on the most valuable initiatives.

As the Director, Care Operations you will:

  • Build high-level strategy for how to best evolve the Care model as the business grows and the commercial client base diversifies
  • Build expertise in healthcare regulation and ecosystem players, helping to operationalize clinical aspects of commercial and government contracts
  • Synthesize insights and pain points from Care team to help prioritize a team roadmap
  • Conduct analysis on tools and current ways-of-working to identify and improve on operational inefficiencies
  • Leverage consumer insights data to optimize impact and effort of serving members
  • Work with Product team to establish mechanisms for measuring Care Advocate impact on member health outcomes
  • Oversee execution of recommended change initiatives, collaborating with Care Advocates, Provider Operations, Product and Growth/Engagement teams

We’re looking for you to bring:

  • 8+ years experience, with background in healthcare services / delivery
  • Experience working in consumer or patient-centric departments (i.e. care navigation), leveraging insights from the end-user to improve service delivery
  • Experience managing complicated, long-term projects with several internal stakeholders
  • Strong communication and listening skills; interest in learning from others
  • Strong analytical capabilities; experience using data to drive decisions
  • Humble with ability to roll up sleeves and work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
  • Hungry to solve problems and take on end-to-end ownership of solutions
