Maven is looking for a Mid Market Sales Director to lead and drive enterprise sales efforts in the West. As the Sales Director, you will present Maven’s leading solution for family benefits to companies that employ up to 1,000 employees. You will educate our potential clients on the impact our solution has in reducing healthcare costs, increasing productivity and engagement, and improving employees’ lives during a critical period in their lives.

As the Sales Director, Mid Market at Maven, your core responsibilities include: 

* Working with the VP of Sales to develop a personal sales strategy and business plan
* Research target opportunities, generate account leads, and build a robust pipeline in your territory
* Develop an understanding of client pain points and priorities in order to craft customized value propositions for each potential account
* Keep informed of new products and services in order to grow existing relationships
* Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and understand Maven’s differentiators

We’re looking for someone to bring core capabilities to our team: 

* 4+ years of experience selling a technology solution to HR/Benefits leadership of employers with fewer than 1,000 employees
* Proven consistent quota achievement in B2B sales
* Ability to identify and engage with key decision-makers at an organization
* Skilled delivery of compelling sales and product presentations

Helpful experiences and backgrounds:

* Startup experience 
* Familiarity with health tech, ideally in women’s and family health
