Software Architect

Provide architectural blueprints and technical leadership to a team of designers and developers for
the design, development and system integration in the area of IoT solution development from
definition phase through implementation in a nimble, startup like environment.
➢ Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards.
➢ Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product
platform.
➢ Define, maintain, and manage architecture models, frameworks and artifacts, including design /
implementation / test plan reviews. Governance towards adherence of Architecture downstream.
➢ Lead proof of concepts and development of evaluation matrix through final recommendation,
including hands-on execution where needed. Work across product teams and the wider organisation
to drive product direction and technical strategy to meet market requirements. Contribute to solution
scoping and effort sizing with cross-functional teams
➢ Executive presence, including ability to hold executive-level discussions, exceptional interpersonal,
verbal, written and presentation skills
➢ Initiate communications between key contributors and stakeholders, acting as a single point of
contact for cross-functional solution architecture.
➢ Assist in the evaluation of new solutions for integration into the IoT Roadmap / Strategy
➢ Perform root-cause analysis of complex issues ranging from hardware, operating system, application,
network, and information security platforms while working closely with a variety of infrastructure
teams and business users to quickly arrive at inventive and long-term solutions
➢ Evaluate and undertake impact analyses on major design options and assets’ associated risks.
➢ Ensure that the system design balances functional, quality, security, and systems management
requirements
➢ Stay informed on technology trends and product roadmaps to make strategic solution architecture
recommendations
