Job Description
Account Executive is a key position that will involve seeking out new potential clients and matching their requirements with Marketop’s offerings.

The key responsibilities that the Account Executive will be entrusted with are
• Seeking out new customers and sales opportunities for driving revenue
• Build long term relationships with key contacts at target customers
• Apply learnings and experiences to streamline sales processes
• Represent the company at events
• Use various lead generation tools (website, blog, promotions, word of mouth, trade shows,
market research, cold calling, emails etc.) to create a database of potential targets
• Manage the full sales cycle from start to close
• Effectively execute on every element of the sales process on an individual level and build a top-notch direct sales team in the near future

The position requires the person to operate from the US (preferably New York City) and involves access to a computer and phone. Most of the sales will happen via phone calls and some in-person meetings.

Skills
• Have a flair for selling and building relationships with individuals and organizations
• Excellent communication skills, ability to spot opportunities and go after them with passion
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Ability to work under constraints and to make the most out of allotted resources
• Keen sense of using the internet and telephone as a medium to connect with customers
• Problem solving attitude
• Patience and the ability to tactfully handle customer negotiations

Experience and qualifications
• Have more than 4 years experience in SaaS or Digital Marketing services selling to organizations of all sizes
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Excellent track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets

Compensation Structure
• This is a commission-based sales position with an opportunity to earn a permanent full-time role as Head of Sales.
• Very generous recurring commission plan and bonus
• Potential to earn equity with a full-time salary and commission offer if all requirements are met within a 90-day probation period
• Benefits offered with permanent salary positions
