Marketman is revolutionizing the way restaurants interface with their suppliers, thereby reducing cost and increasing efficiency. MarketMan aspires to disrupt an inefficient marketplace by enabling multi-unit operators and independent restaurants to improve inventory and order management logistics as well as their bottom line. We seek a marketing manager to join our team located in NYC.

Responsibilities
Coordinate all marketing functions
Content: Lead and manage content strategy
Web: Manage content, lead generation funnels and make edits via content management systems. Administer SEO program and keywords initiatives.
Email: Develop strategy, segmentation program for email marketing. Set up and publish weekly and monthly newsletters.
Social: Design & manage MarketMan’s social strategy & presence across various channels, including developing an editorial calendar that aligns with key marketing objectives.
Multimedia: Oversee production, editing and distribution of webinars and videos
Print: Establish templates and best practices for presentations, brochures.
Events: Attend and represent MarketMan at various local industry events when required, including networking events that may take place outside of traditional workday hours. through organizing & attending meetups, student meetings, conferences, & other events.
PR: Work with CEO and DOS on media strategy and execution.
Implement metrics for measuring and reporting marketing and channel performance
Manage commercially-focused events including pre-event research, planning, & communications, onsite coordination, & post-event reporting.
Identify & build partnerships & strategic opportunities
Develop, track, & communicate KPIS for all events & social media initiatives.


The person we are seeking will:
• Have experience marketing digital or online products and services (ideally SaaS products) to a B2B hospitality and restaurant audience
• Be a natural communicator and relationship-builder who is confident at every level, in order to build channel partnerships and drive growth.
• Thrive on designing and delivering multi-faceted marketing campaigns with tight deadlines to deliver tangible results and exceed revenue targets.
• Have an understanding of the principles of inbound marketing and experience attracting leads through targeted content
• Be a competent copywriter able to demonstrate effective, optimized content creation that has achieved high engagement
• Devise and implement strategies and campaigns to delight our customers and encourage upsell - minimizing churn and maximizing customer lifetime value
• Have experience working effectively with a sales function to ensure full sales and marketing alignment
• Have general understanding of PPC marketing on Linkedin, Facebook, Google and other online marketing vendors.
• Be hands-on and organized as our marketing lead in North America
• Understand that success is judged on driving sales and conversions through targeted marketing activity that keeps the pipeline filled with high value leads.
• Quickly come to understand the Marketman Product suite
• Raise Marketman’s profile at every opportunity, including producing and distributing timely press releases to relevant restaurant and hospitality media news outlets and managing relationships with key industry bodies.
• Have experience marketing software to merchants
• Demonstrable experience planning and implementing digital marketing campaigns, comfortable with analytics, metrics and ROI focused
• Experience in managing channel relationships to increase reach


Job Requirements
• 3+ years of marketing experience within the hospitality market
• Strong general understanding of technology, SAAS products and models and digital user interfaces. Knowledge of hospitality logistical systems is a plus
• Marketing knowledge and experience
• Strong analytical skills for data analysis and performance measurement
• Experience with sales productivity tools
• Strong written and oral communication skills to concisely deliver our message
• Desire to continually grow the business
• Mastery of consultative, value-based selling of multiple products
• A positive, can-do attitude and come into work ready to conquer the day
• Bachelor's Degree
