We are looking for a hard worker individual, passionate about building new products and creating companies. The full stack engineer for ManiMe will be responsible for achieving our biweekly sprints, participating in product design meetings, managing and developing our core technologies.

We have developed 3D computer graphics and machine learning tools to render 3d models as well as a host of mobile and web apps. The candidate will hit the ground running, providing a combination of leadership and hands-on coding as we build our technical team.

About ManiMe – High tech manicures on-the-go.
ManiMe is a beauty tech startup that leverages technology to customize beauty tech products and experiences to makes customers’ lives easier. Starting from manicure, we use 3D scanning technology and Machine Learning to 3D model each nail of each customer thanks to our in-house patented photogrammetry solution, in order to deliver a custom fit ready-to-wear manicure set that we ship to customers in 3 days and that can be applied in minutes on-the-go wherever. No more time, money and health commitments at the nail salon are required.
Manicures can elicit the feeling of being put together, confident, and beautiful, but it’s not easy to get manicures today. We design the entire ManiMe experience for women (and men) who are unable to get pampered due to time, money, and health concerns. The company is strongly positioned in the market due to our core technologies, financing, and the strength of our team.

About the Role

We are looking for someone to join the tech team creation and scaling, eager to build a team and have a strong ownership on the tech front. This includes our fully customized e-commerce website, cloud photogrammetry 3D scanning solution, mobile app, recommendation algorithms, Machine Learning algorithms.

ManiMe was incubated at Stanford University. We went through Techstars in 2018, raising a pre-seed round in 2019, launching in November 2019 and raising series A in May 2020.

Preferred qualifications:

• Over 3-5 years experience as a full stack manager
• Experiencing working in engineering teams with other engineers
• Strong programming background and React and React Native knowledge
• Familiarity with machine learning and 3D web graphics
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand development processes
• Ability to execute quickly under tight deadlines
• Ownerships to execute projects from beginning to end while communicating efficiently with the rest of the leadership team
• Experience developing in large codebases as well as implementing features from scratch
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to execute quickly under tight deadlines and uncertain environment
• Curiosity (full knowledge is not required) around Machine Learning and Deep Learning, the technologies are using to optimize our 3D scanning process and recommendation algorithm
• Curiosity around image processing, image transformation
• Experience in building new products, features or new ideas preferred
• Ability to coach and develop others
