Metaverse startup Mallconomy is creating the most fun shopping mall built for the people, by the people!
The Mallconomy is a platform built on Polygon that allows users to buy, sell, trade and own digital assets in a virtual shopping mall. Assets are bought and sold in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and represent shops, wearables, products and other property.
$WOOT is the platform's ecosystem token and the native driving force that fuels the creator economy.
Our team combines a wealth of experience in Fintech, AI and Game Development and has an exceptional track record in building digital communities in both the Web2 and Web3 spaces.
In total, we are a team of 29, positioned across 4 continents, with ambition to grow!
We have assembled the right tech hub to execute our vision with five full-time employees in Folkart Towers in Izmir, Turkey.

Our team has a combined 210 years of total working experience and over 75.5 years of combined experience working together. We often finish each other’s sentences, lines of code and occasionally lunch, when they aren't looking of course!
THE ROLE
We want to take our platform to the next level, making it the best-of-breed among game apps and virtual social shops. As the partnerships manager, you will work closely with the Business Development team to take ownership of customer leads, converting them into virtual projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish and onboard relationships with key brands.
Lead discussions and outbound business development.
Lead initiatives to have Mallconomy connect with a mainstream and Web3 audience.
Excite and inspire potential brands with the ecosystem that Mallconomy has to offer.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, engineering, product/content) to build an offering that can be brought to partners in a scalable way.
Help brands understand Mallconomy and how we can support them.
Track and update partners using our CRM.
Chair kick-off meetings to hand converted leads over to production.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Strong background in sales and business development.
Experience in project management.
Excellent customer communication skills to build strong relationships with brand partners.
Up to date on the social virtual worlds market and trends.
Good knowledge of web3 and blockchain technologies.
Excellent organisational skills
NICE TO HAVE
- Startup experience
- Passionate about all things blockchain, crypto, and decentralised finance
- Experience in business development within Metaverse products or virtual worlds.
- Experience in onboarding new partners into similar products or platforms
- Having experience within the fashion/retail industry.
- Familiarity with Digital Fashion and the type of brand experiences created within the Metaverse.
