Commercial Counsel$150k – $160k • No equity
Magnolia represents venture-backed startups as trusted outside counsel, working on formations, financings, mergers, contracts, hiring, and everything in between.
We're looking to add a team member who can can focus on SaaS contracts and sales deals. Our clients are busy and generate an enormous flow of sales deals. We're looking for someone who can focus on these and provide expert SaaS sales advice, quick turn-around times and practical, experience guidance.
Experience representing venture-backed startups at a reputable firm: You should have impressive experience working with SaaS companies on commercial contracts. We will give comprehensive, hands-on training every day, but we're looking for an expert or expert-in-the-making here.
Ability to build great relationships: The technical legal skills are important, but our business is built on relationships of trust with our clients. Most companies have bad experiences with their lawyers, and we are here to be the exception that becomes a key part of our clients' businesses. Especially in sales deals, we want to be in the trenches with the VP of Sales and their reps, available quickly, and a trusted part of their team.
