We’re building an AI and computer vision platform to elevate every front-line doctor to visually assess skin conditions as well as a dermatologist.

Company Overview

LuminDx is passionate about improving outcomes for people with skin conditions, getting them from sick to healthy faster. We have built a platform developed with leading dermatologists to help primary care physicians understand their patient’s skin concerns and then help them make the right care choice. Our cutting-edge tool uses artificial intelligence and works with just a photo and answers to a few basic questions to provide results instantly.

In the last 6 months we've brought in 60,000 images from expert physicians, and are scaling this capability to centers with larger datasets, including academic medical centers and dermatology centers, to hit 1 million diagnosed images, and identify skin conditions as well as a dermatologist.

Job Description

LuminDx is combining unique areas of expertise: artificial intelligence and medical care. This role involves strategic selling to forge partnerships with leading doctors and involves significant autonomy - you get to decide how to grow and scale our data licensing.

This job requires working closely with the CEO to build partnerships with dermatologists and leading clinical experts to enable the continuous improvement of the software. A strong candidate will desire to work on a product with significant impact, have experience working with physicians, and be an excellent communicator.

In a typical week, you may

• Drive agreements with academic institutions for partnership that is beneficial to both parties
• Research high priority doctors and healthcare system partnership potentials who could provide value towards achieving company goals
• All hands on deck - it’s a startup, so you’ll often need to do whatever needs to get done to move things forward for the company

Qualifications and Characteristics

• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to interact and connect with people in the healthcare industry, especially leading doctors
• Persistence and grit
• Internally driven with ownership to get things done quickly
• Great written, spoken, and visual communication skills
• A desire to learn new things and change as needed
• Critical thinking with an eye towards always looking to improve processes and the company
• Experience working with customers within complex healthcare systems
• Experience working in a startup environment
• BA/BS degree or higher
