ABOUT LOOKS
Looks is an on-demand personal shopping app. We aim to make the online shopping experience for our customers as personal as going to a physical store. We do this by matching stylists in real time with users that have shopping questions or need inspiration. Chat with your stylists, get instant help and buy suggestions that you like straight from the chat.

THE MISSION
As the Full Stack Development Lead you create the infrastructure that will change our game. An infrastructure with which the team can efficiently deliver those features that make our customers happy. You’ll look into the entire game of designing an application that fulfills the needs of our customers and the company as a whole.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Translate the vision of looks into a scalable and flexible backend data warehouse infrastructure.
• Make sure the front-end developers and product team can also deliver on short-term & fast iterations.
• Build an A-player team as we grow.

YOUR SKILLS & BACKGROUND
• Preferably living in Amsterdam
• Holder of EU citizenship/work permit
• Deeply familiar with at least one object orientated language (examples are PHP, Java, C++, Swift, Objective C, etc)
• Proven track record of application development in which you initiated, pushed and completed projects yourself
• Experience in one of the modern agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Extrem Programming)
• Knowledge about data structures and data warehouses
• Work experience in mobile or ecommerce is a plus
• Familiarity with tracking technologies (e.g. Mixpanel, Adjust or Google Analytics)
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science
