• Use near-real-time energy data to reduce their bill.
• Track the real-time carbon footprint of their energy usage.

SmartKit AI is a web dashboard and mobile app that allows building owners and management teams to save money on the energy use of large residential (e.g. apartment), commercial, and industrial buildings. We install IoT sensors that help us optimize and manage energy loads, as well as provide real-time insight into building system performance.

Description:

Our technology is in the market and loved by all users, and our clients want to grow. The Smart Buildings Field Engineer will play an integral role in our Electrical & Information Technology department and have at least 5-years relevant experience. In this position, you will be providing you will be providing startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning services for for Logical Buildings’ clients. Familiarity with IoT devices (Internet of Things), WiFi/RF infrastructure (switches, fiber optics, router, modems etc.), electrical & mechanical systems, electrical metering, utility meter monitoring interfaces, building management systems, and renewable energy systems is a plus. On the job training will also be provided.

In this role, you will be providing startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning services. Majority of time will be spent at client’s sites primarily in greater New York city area. Off times will be spent at the corporate headquarters in Livingston, NJ.

Must be experienced with MS Office, MS Excel, iOS/Android mobile applications. Familiarity with AutoCad, Smartsheet, and Salesforce is preferred. Certifications like CompTIA A+/Network+, CCNA, ACSP are a major plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Trouble shooting IT network connectivity issues.
• Act as the mobile field service engineer on assigned open tickets and work in collaboration with senior engineering staff members.
• Perform field commissioning procedures for installed metering and IoT systems to include inspection, testing, and documentation of results.
• Develop, coordinate, and participate in training programs.
• Testing IT communications between field devices.

Location
