LocalEyes Group is recruiting one Swiss Italian Natural Language Software Localisation QA Engineer to work at our Client’s premises, in Cork, Ireland, which is a leading telecom product and software provider in the mobile and personal computing space.



Italian (Switzerland) Natural Language Software Localisation QA Engineer



Location: Cork, Ireland

Position Start: ASAP/1 year contract with possibilities to extension

Work duration: full-time

Job Summary:

Our client’s European International Quality team is responsible for designing, implementing and executing both automated and manual QA Plans for their software products for the EMEIA market. Our client is looking for a highly motivated Natural Language Software Localisation QA Engineer with interpersonal and foreign language skills.



Job Description:

You will be responsible for the quality of the end to end user experience with a focus on Natural Language Processing in your language. Our client is looking for a QA Engineer with client- server testing background and highly motivated to deliver high quality products. Your primary responsibility is to focus on the international aspects of our client’s natural language software application to ensure that they have an amazing product. This position is based in Cork, Ireland.



Duties include:

- Hands on testing of the natural language software app.

- Investigating and scoping out software bugs.

- Extend linguistic and domain coverage for various test cases.

- Contributing to test automation efforts.

- Interact with localisation engineers to ensure accuracy is preserved across language.

- Escalating key quality issues and driving to resolution.



Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.



Required Qualifications:

- Native speaker fluency in the required language.

- Excellent vocabulary and command of spoken and written English.

- Self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.

- Flexibility to respond and react to changing priorities quickly and efficiently.

- Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills



Preferred:

- Experience building and/or scripting test automation.

- Experience working with large scale client + server software features.

- Ability to thrive under pressure and function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
