About Liven


Founded in Australia in 2014, Liven is a universal rewards network with integrated payment facility aiming to consumerise cryptocurrencies for everyday people. Since 2014 Liven has grown to service 400,000+ users transacting at 1,000+ venues in Australia’s two largest cities, Sydney and Melbourne, with national and international expansion beginning in Q3 2019 starting with Brisbane and Adelaide. Annualised run rate of tens of millions in payments already Liven rewards users with our network currency for every transaction they make. Liven is already integrated with a number of key Point of Sale (POS) partners allowing it to reach more than 20,000 venues. The next step in the evolution of Liven is the addition of blockchain to this payment system through the incorporation of an Ethereum ERC-20 token called LivenCoin, or LVN.


Before you ask, Liven is already a VC backed startup raising $11.5 million in traditional capital. Merchant partners on the platform include major brands like Din Tai Fung, Coco Tea, Rockpool Group, Mad Mex, 8Bit, Roll’d, Messina, Dragon Hot Pot, and many more.

What you’ll do


Sourcing new potential clients, initiating contact and developing relationships in your respective territories.


Build a sales strategy to grow and sustain the Liven business in your city.

Identify partnership opportunities to supercharge our merchant and user acquisition strategies.

Build strong relationships with your clients and ensure you delight them as we scale.

Work with business analytics to come up with ways to 10x our growth! There is nothing we can’t achieve with persistence and data.
Actively identify upsell opportunities with restaurant groups to ensure LivenPay is utilised across the estate.

Brainstorm creative initiatives with the user acquisition team to hack user growth and take over your city!

Work with and eventually take over the great work done by the Liven launch team.

Define the strategy for growth in your city.

Communicate product/process needs to HQ, working with product and engineering to improve and deliver on them.

Uphold and develop an office culture second to none.

Provide reporting to HQ on important growth metrics across the city.


What you’ll need


2+ years of experience in Field Sales or Account Management role desirable.

Experience selling to food groups desirable.

Experience generating deals through hitting the streets and cold calling.

A growth mindset constantly looking for ways to improve and supercharge the existing process.

Entrepreneurial drive and passion to build the city!


Existing relationships in the hospitality industry preferred.

Fluency in Mandarin/Asian languages HIGHLY desirable!

Pumped to be part of a startup with huge growth aspirations and a major vision.

Brilliant interpersonal skills, charm and charisma, able to converse at single store and multinational brand level.

Knowledge and passion for blockchain technology preferred but not essential.

Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking.
