Position: Sr DevOps Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for a DevOps engineer to join our team. As an integral member of the engineering team, youÕll be helping us build a sophisticated, next generation financial services and benefits platform. Our customers trust us with a lot: integrating seamlessly across financial institutions, moving money, tracking balances, helping with their healthcare decisions, and keeping their data extremely secure. In order to take on this mission, you'll design, build, manage, and support the infrastructure which our Node.js & Postgres web applications run upon.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with the rest of engineering to create automated tools to build and deploy software consistently and predictably.
- Leverage AWS tools, services, and offerings as much as possible to run mission critical systems, but if something doesn't quite fit you are able to design alternatives.
- Ensure non-production and production systems are resilient, secured, monitored and run reliably.
- Be on call to triage and respond to Production issues.

We take great care and pride in building features that will delight our customers. You will be responsible for a lot so you should feel comfortable in a fast paced, growing, and nimble environment, keeping in mind that everything we do is to better the lives of our users!

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in architecting, building, and maintaining AWS-based Linux infrastructure.
- Experience with configuration management and provisioning tools, treating infrastructure as code, with any relevant languages, e.g., ruby, python, bash.
- Experience with automating engineering tasks, e.g., one-click build and deploy to dev and production environments with zero-downtime, integration with Git and security code scans, etc.
- Experience with administering Linux systems, e.g., networking, disks, installing & configuring software, etc.
- Solid understanding of OSI and TCP/IP models and of networking within a cloud environment.
- Experience with node.js & Postgres are nice to haves.
- AWS Certification would be great, but not a requirement.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Someone who isn't afraid of responsibility, a good sense of humor and a down-to-earth personality.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
