Digital Project Manager

The role of a Project Manager at Little Vitamin is to manage and take ownership over the successful delivery of client’s projects.
You'll be responsible for ensuring projects run smoothly, on time and on budget, while ensuring our clients are happy and their expectations are managed.

On the job, you will manage resource across the design and development teams, as well as periodically scoping out new projects, writing project briefs, and quoting for projects. Previous experience and knowledge of platforms such as Wordpress and Shopify will be an advantage as well as basic knowledge of programming would also be a plus.

Who are LV?
Founded in 2014 to service clients with budgets of 20k or under. Little Vitamin operates in a truly nimble fashion, capable of bespoke and off the shelf products predominately on Shopify eCommerce and Wordpress platforms. LV runs with high efficiency in mind, while squeezing as much creativity out of each budget.

Experience
The right person for the role will have already worked in an agency environment and have experience of delivering digital projects.
You’ll be the kind of person who gets stuck in, and really enjoys working as part of a young and vibrant team. The ability to build and own relationships is key, as well as being organised and having strong project management skills. Attention to detail with a creative eye is also an important skill to possess and develop.
As the main point of contact for our team, you’ll have a close relationship with the design and development teams to ensure projects are delivered to specification and on budget and time.
You will need to have a full understanding of your client's needs, and how we can best deliver their requirements.
You’ll gain exposure to everything from brand development, to custom app development and events. You’ll report directly into the Managing Director and play a key role in advising, updating and highlighting operational successes and failures.

Time management
We need you to manage your time, work efficiently and keep track of all time spent on projects. This all helps us to deliver the best work within the budget allowed. We also require you to manage some of the team members time and budget to ensure that they are working efficiently and delivering their responsibilities within the required timeframe and budget.

Our work
Our clients are generally, starting up, SMEs or individuals, looking to get their new product online. They generally have a fixed or limited budget. However, with the expertise within the Little Vitamin team, we deliver visually stunning work while maintaining high efficiency to keep the project costs down, by utilising existing platforms and apps, such as Wordpress and Shopify.


Your responsibilities
The Project Manager should manage projects and build relationships with clients, to deliver work that surpasses our clients expectations. Your responsibilities include, but are not only limited to:

● Creative and digital thinking
● Creative critique skills; using evidence to support what will and won’t work
● Relay client feedback to the team in a constructive and precise manner
● Interpret client requirements and develop creative briefs for the team
● Oversee and ensure appropriate sign-off of work before sending onto the client to maintain quality standards
● Develop an understanding of the roles and skillsets of each team member and know how to utilise team resources properly
● Display an awareness of available technologies and their potential and barriers
● Familiarity with the digital environment and processes

Communication
● Confidence to communicate with impact, have an opinion and gravitas
● Make well-informed decisions, be proactive
● Communicate clearly and concisely through written, verbal and presentation skills
● Build relationships with key contacts throughout the agency

Project Management
● Understand agency processes and ensure quality control
● Look and plan ahead to anticipate and avert potential problems before they happen
● Setup and manage projects in Asana
● Produce and predict timeframes and Milestones
● Check Toggl, to ensure projects are brought in under budget
● Involve the right people at the right time for the right job
● Brief and signoff on work coming in and going out of the development team


Financial management
● Develop an understanding of the role of Finance and how to utilise the team properly
● Support the team in meeting profit margin targets and maximising the gross profit target of the team/agency
● Show awareness of and proactively manage profit margins for individual jobs

Team management
● Manage own time effectively
● Allocate tasks to team members and make them aware of timeframes and budgets
● Maintain an awareness of the workload of others
● Enthusiasm to learn soft skills from senior colleagues
● Facilitate knowledge-sharing opportunities
● Recognise that whilst client work is the most important thing we do, agency needs must be prioritised as well, e.g. forecasts, training, team meetings, new business, etc.
