Linqia is seeking a VP of Sales with 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales management, who is looking to build and mentor a team as a player-coach.

This is a new position that you can shape and define. You will embrace new challenges, and have the energy and passion to expertly develop and implement a winning enterprise sales strategy in a high visibility position.


* Build talent pipeline; coach, train, motivate and grow enterprise sales team
* Own core sales metrics - develop and manage sales pipeline from lead to close and move a large number of transactions simultaneously through the pipeline, increase win rate & average deal size, improve client repeatability and annual committed deals
* Conduct weekly forecast meetings and coach direct reports on sales process
* Ride shotgun with direct reports on major deals to drive deals to close and ensure we have the right details to execute & land repeat business
* Report on sales activity and submit weekly forecast to COO
* Drive strategic deals and accounts to seven-figure deal victories
* Monitor and track sales activity of the team, actively engage with sellers to help increase activity and improve deal success
* Consistently over-achieve quarterly and annual quotas
* Provide customer and prospect feedback to both marketing and product teams
* Hands on management style and proven experience recruiting, managing and motivating an all-star sales team
* Coaching, developing and managing performance of the sales team
* Knowledge of or curiosity about the impact influencer marketing is having on brand success in a constantly changing digital advertising landscape


* Bachelor's Degree
* 10+ years of sales experience in digital marketing and/or advertising & media technology selling into large, enterprise clients
* 7+ years of sales management experience with a team of 10+
* Experience selling marketing solutions to CMOs
* Proven track record closing high six figure and seven figure deals
* The motivation, creativity & energy to increase individual seller success and our win rate
* Unrelenting focus on team and self accountability
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Well versed in Salesforce.com or managing sales cycle through a CRM
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
* Desire and ability to be in the details of the pipeline overall and major deals in each region
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in a startup environment
* Travel of approximately 50% of the time
* Strong rolodex of senior CPG and media/shopper agency contacts preferred
