Role:

Linqia is looking to start and quickly scale our Sales Development Representative team. As the first SDR Lead at Linqia, you'll have the opportunity to work with our Director of Sales Operations to help build the SDR function from the ground up. You will be one of the key members of the Sales team, implementing processes to capture and respond to our MQL leads, while actively prospecting for qualified decision-makers at brands and agencies. You'll play a critical part in our growing sales team, setting up more qualified meetings that convert to won deals.

Responsibilities:

* Be a true player-coach. While responsible for your own quota, you’ll coach, train, and mentor a growing SDR team.
* Be a great storyteller. Articulate Linqia’s capabilities to the correct decision-maker to educate them on our offering, build interest and take a meeting from a Lead Brand Partner.
* Be balanced between proactive and reactive. Handle both inbound marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and outbound cold prospecting for opportunities that convert to qualified meetings.
* Build the foundation for revenue. Generate substantial outbound activity via cold emails, calls, InMails and drip campaigns.
* Passionate about accurate data. Update prospect information in Salesforce and SalesLoft to ensure the right messaging is going to the right prospects at the right time.
* Consistently achieve pipeline and meeting quotas for the entire SDR team.

Qualifications:

* You have 3+ years of experience in an outbound SDR role. You’ve done this role before and want to help others excel at it. This is your chance. 
* Experience working with CRM and sales acceleration software like Salesforce & SalesLoft.
* You’re interested in moving into a management role rather than moving into an outside sales role.
* You’re excited at the idea about building a function from scratch and putting together a high performing team.
* You enjoy continuously improving and reporting on lead metrics and strive to increase the overall sales pipeline quarter over quarter. You drive deep satisfaction of seeing deals close that you know you were the first point of contact on.
* Hold yourself accountable to weekly metrics and quotas. You the trailblazer that isn’t afraid to make calls even is the office is quiet or get in the office early to cover east coast business hours.
* Interest in ad-tech or influencer marketing. A huge plus if you have over 10k followers on Instagram or other social platforms. You will have an intimate understanding of what we do.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
