About the Role

Lilt is looking to grow our Sales Development team to help us manage the ever growing demand for our platform and to drive new customer acquisition.

The Lilt SDR role holds an important position at the top of the sales funnel for the entire company. Our successful SDRs are the pipeline that feeds our sales organization.

The ideal SDR candidate, along with having a track record of top performance, will also have the organizational skills to handle a high lead flow and should have a strong interest in advancing his/her career in sales.

Some of your responsibilities will be:
* Take ownership for building top-of-funnel sales opportunities for the sales team by sourcing and qualifying business prospects. 
* Manage a high volume of activity, including emails and calls, with the ultimate goal to set meetings with qualified customers to discuss our services. 
* Critically evaluate our sales process and service to give us feedback on what resonates with customers and what doesn't. 
* Collaborate closely with the rest of the sales team to ensure success down-funnel and better inform lead generation activities based on deals won and lost. 
* Experiment and iterate to create high-converting, personalized customer introductions explaining our services.
* Manage sales lead data in Salesforce to provide visibility to optimize lead generation activities. 
* Based on performance in the SDR role, begin progression to Account Executive responsibilities. One timeline might look like: Participate in in sales calls at 4 months, take on select accounts at 8 months and drive full sales cycle at 12 months.

Skills and experience needed:
* 1-2 years experience in sales or sales development. 
* A proven track record of sales success at tech companies, large or small. 
* A true passion for the products we're building, including good working knowledge of APIs, data and web technology. 
* Basic comfort working with sales tools (e.g. Salesforce and high-end email automation toolsets).
* Ability to work in a high volume environment 
* Articulate with strong business acumen
