The Role
LifeCanvas Technologies is an MIT startup developing cutting-edge technologies and platform that reshape biological tissue studies with the mission of expediting breakthrough discoveries in science and medicine to improve human health.
As a Junior Technology Associate, you will work closely with our senior engineers and international sales/marketing team to guide a product's journey from inception, continued optimization to launch. With your technical expertise, you will streamline the manufacturing pipeline, iterate for optimization and ensure quality control for global product launch and sales. You will also be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support for our end users.
There will be ample opportunities to be promoted to a senior role based on your performance. You will also be working with world-class scientists in Bioengineering and Neuroscience across the nation and beyond.
Our ideal candidate will have:
-Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related technical field
-Prior experience in a lab designing experiments and protocols
-Prior experience in fast-growing life sciences startup or environment a plus
-Prior experience in managing product lifecycle or taking a prototype out of a lab to commercialization a plus
-Any imaging experience a plus
