Leverege is seeking a full-time digital marketing manager in the Washington, DC Metro area responsible for developing, coordinating and executing various marketing-related initiatives. You will report to the Director of Marketing and have the opportunity to experience all aspects of the digital marketing ecosystem. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and dynamic individual with strong storytelling skills who isn’t afraid to work in a fast-paced startup environment and get their hands dirty.

Brand strategy, creativity, and growth marketing work hand-in-hand, enabling us to build and execute sophisticated campaigns that drive business results and make Leverege stand out as a thought leader and innovator. To do that, we must "become" the media -- building and executing a strategy that revolves around everything from social media to blogging, to podcasting, and to many other forms of effective digital media distribution.

We currently operate the fastest growing independent IoT publication, IoT For All (iotforall.com) and a major part of your role will be in helping grow the IoT For All brand. You will lead our social media presence, help recruit and grow our vibrant contributor community, handle the ongoing management and relationships of community members, and build ongoing partnerships with the top IoT events from around the world.

You will work hand-in-hand with the company's leadership to develop, execute and analyze growth campaigns that produce tangible business results for both Leverege and IoT For All. We require that you think creatively, don't shy away from taking risks, and be bold in your daily efforts to establish our company as a leader in the Internet of Things industry.


**What are the initial responsibilities for this role?**
Work in tandem with the Director of Marketing and internal team to manage:

~General Marketing:
a). Foster storytelling to create a dynamic, engaging and authentic brand experience that successfully reflects the spirit of our mission

~Content Marketing:
a). Maintain a content Editorial Calendar, including regularly writing and publishing blog posts. This content should educate the market, nurture our partners, and drive leads, subscribers, awareness and other important metrics.
b). Optimize all relevant content for search engines and lead generation according to technical SEO principles. Perform keyword research and provide content recommendations

~Social Media:
a). Lead creation of social media content calendar to build, execute and analyze campaigns.
b). Manage the business’ social media strategy and accounts and drive engagement

~Email Marketing:
a). Create weekly and monthly email outreach/campaigns via Campaign Monitor.
b). Develop a strategy for growing email subscribers

~Partnerships:
a). Maintain and execute event partnerships with the largest IoT related events around the world. You will assist in the development of relationships with events, create mutually beneficial contracts between both parties, and execute agreed-upon deliverables.
b). Community management for IoT For All

~Podcast:
a). Schedule IoT thought leaders and handle pre-interview and post-interview communications
b). Assist with producer responsibilities, including a co-host schedule, audio editing, research, etc.

**What skills are required for this role?**

~ Excellent copywriting skills and experience in different styles of writing, including blog posts, white papers, press releases, eBooks, email copy, social media and more
~ Familiarity or willingness to learn digital marketing campaign tools
~ Strong communication and decision-making skills
~ Organizational, multitasking and time management skills
~ Experience with HTML, Wordpress, videography is a plus, but not required

**What skills are the qualifications for this role?**

~ BA/BS Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Business or a related major or equivalent work experience
~ 2-3 years of experience in a marketing or communications role (startups and tech is a plus) with a strong understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem
~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience producing high-quality content marketing assets
~ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities. Must be able to effectively interact with people at all levels of the organization - from interns to C-Suite
