Let’s Do This is your go-to source for finding, reviewing and booking the best sport events across the world. Whether you’re looking for your first 5k or your 10th Ironman, we’re the best place to find your next challenge.

Behind the scenes, we’re an ambitious team that are passionate about inspiring others to take on life-changing challenges. Our team, which includes people previously at Google, Facebook and Deliveroo are helping athletes find and enjoy epic experiences. We’re looking for others who share this drive as we shake up the health and fitness industry.

Build: Create and own a data infrastructure that can deliver data in a quick and reliable manner. Integrate new external data sources. Design and build data structures that can be consolidated with existing data and allow data management to scale with Let’s Do This’ rapid growth. Build logic to surface data in Looker to help the business make better decisions.

Lead: Strive for a platform with high uptime that can scale as the company grows. Build a vision for what that should look like technically. Take lead on executing towards that vision. Own relationship with stakeholders working with data, and making sure our technology and infrastructure support their data needs. When the team grows, help build that team and lead it.

Impact: This role will change the way we work with data. The data will be available to the whole organisation more reliably and with less delay, and users will be able to trust the data more.

You have worked with data and development for 3+ years. You are willing to take lead on creating a vision for the technical development of the data infrastructure. SQL and Python is comfortably in your toolbox and you have experience with building pipelines to get data into a database, designing and creating ETLs and surfacing data to business users. Maintaining a production environment is something you have done before. You can take requirements from non-technical stakeholders and turn them into technical solutions, whilst also guide stakeholders that better solves their needs.

In terms of work practices, you employ a growth mindset. That means you are open to new challenges and to learn new skills. When work needs to be done, you are happy to pick it up and deliver on it. You focus on speed, design for simple solutions and have an understanding of what is good enough. Favouring delivering value rather than getting bogged down in academic discussions is imperative to succeed at Let’s Do This.

A highly skilled and highly driven team with a shared passion and vision to revolutionise the sports industry.
Extremely competitive salary and stock options: we're looking for the best of the best.

Launched in December 2016 and now with offices in San Francisco and London. We're a young and ambitious team motivated by a shared passion for helping people discover and take part in life-changing challenges. We participated in Y Combinator in winter 2018, and since then have raised $20m in funding from leading VC funds and angels and are entering our next phase of growth.

Running, triathlon, cycling, obstacle racing and many other endurance sports are booming, but it's really difficult to find great events. With the largest database of events in the world, and an engaged community of endurance sports enthusiasts, we're making it easy to find great races, whilst helping race organisers to reach new participants.

See how we became the most talked-about company on our Y-Combinator batch bit.ly/2Hc1k1d(March 2018, Mountain View CA, USA).
