About this Position:
The Partner Account Executive position will be exposed to a range of both sales and account management functions, with a primary focus on driving Income Share Agreement (ISA) originations and financing growth on Leif’s platform. The primary goal is to develop channel-sales partnerships with alternative, post-secondary education and training providers across the US. The Partner Account Executive will be joining Leif’s fast-growing sales organization and will have direct access to senior management and other departments within the company.

We are looking for a highly energetic and motivated self-starter eager to join a rapidly growing NYC startup working to quickly change how education is financed. This is a unique opportunity to shape the evolution of an entirely new asset class - which rarely occurs in the world of finance - while also effecting positive societal change.

About Leif:
Leif is a social enterprise startup with a mission to increase access to quality education and training at an affordable cost to students. Leif provides students with a viable alternative to traditional student loans, through a technology-first platform that offers, manages, and arranges financing for ISAs. Outstanding student debt in the US recently surpassed $1.6 trillion, with expected defaults to reach over 40%. Furthermore, 1 in 6 graduates has debt that exceeds their income. ISAs remove this burden on students, allowing them to access quality education and training while also aligning success between the students and their schools.

Responsibilities:
Master the core foundations of Leif’s sales business
Identify, pitch, and close prospective short duration, high ROI vocational education and training programs
Manage client due diligence, ISA product design, and onboarding
Identify, analyze, and help underwrite ISA financing deals
Manage and grow current client relationships

Required:
BA/BS or equivalent working experience
1-3 years of in FinTech, capital markets, technology, and/or channel sales experience
Excellent written and oral presentation skills, able to effectively communicate internally and externally
Self-starter/hunter mentality
Intellectual curiosity and diligence
Dynamic and critical thinking ability
