The Role

We are looking for the highest performing Account Executives to join our fast growing Start-up based in Melbourne, but looking to expand into North America. The opportunity comes with true green grass territories and the chance to sell to untouched leads.

*About This Role *

As an AE for LeadChat we need someone who is excited to create a new sales pipeline from start to finish. We have been able to create a successful process as well as discover an ideal customer profile to help you in your journey. Your job will be to execute.

A successful candidate must be a self-starter, with a positive phone presence, be a collaborative team player happy to take advice, share advice and support continuous team improvement, and be one who is willing to take coaching advice and apply it immediately.
A proven track record of strategic and credible lead follow up, and the ability to handle sales development at multiple levels within an organization is required. Experience managing the full life-cycle of a sale is a must, as is creativity and being resourceful. You need to be able to think for yourself and adjust on the fly within the guidelines we give you. We need people who already understand how SaaS businesses work, are quick learners when it comes to sales platforms and technology tools that augment your effort and are not afraid to innovate as you go.

Performance Expectations

*Minimum 50 calls and 50 emails per day
*5k per month in new MRR (minimum)
*Generate 2+ demo’s per day, (our detailed ramp up plan has you working towards this from day 1)
*Maintain conversion rate of 1 in 3 demo’s to closed won.
*Daily effort applied to self and team learning
*Maintain clean, up to date and complete pipeline
*Contribute to a constant improvement mindset (self, team, process and systems)
*Self assessed performance improvement

*Responsibilities: *

In order to achieve our performance expectations you will have the following daily responsibility.

*Methodically research, prospect and do outreach to targeted accounts

  • Engage with core verticals and targeted personas, that fall within LeadChat’s Ideal Customer Profile
  • Become a credible resource and develop trusted relationships with prospects
  • Collaborate with the Client Services and Agent team in order to set proper expectations for prospective LeadChat client
  • Create a great first impression to our prospects and customers by providing them with a world class experience
  • Maintain active engagement with new leads and existing customers through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in LeadChat
  • Efficiently manage a pipeline life-cycle to drive closed revenue

How to make our short list

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sales for a digital agency selling Adwords packages.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in full life-cycle sales, over the phone/online (zoom).
  • A track record of performance we can check - metrics, KPI’s and sales achievements.
  • Superior pre-call planning, opportunity qualification, and objection handling skills
  • Solid communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills. *Evidence of leveraging leads.
  • Strong analytical thinker and problem solver.
  • Outstanding attention to detail with superior time management skills.
  • Passion for testing, measuring and improving outreach and follow up effectiveness
  • A keen interest in working in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Experience using CRM solutions such as; SalesForce and Zoho
  • Confidence employing sales augmentation tools - (email and call sequences etc).
  • Demonstrable understanding of digital marketing/SEO and conversion optimisation. *Understanding of a SaaS sales business. *Have a passion for sales methodologies (e,g Gap, SPIN, MEDDIC)
