Senior Backend Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced backend engineer to join the team, working with product and engineering to build & scale our backend.

You will:

• Develop, design, implement, and maintain our most critical and scalable services
• Sometimes work on very broadly defined, loose concepts, and sometimes on narrowly defined, tactical features
• Independently execute on medium sized features, taking multiple PRs to complete

You Have:

• An unmatched will to win and innovate
• The ability to explain your work, process, and decisions and seek feedback to help you produce your best work
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Experience with TypeScript and building highly-optimized SQL queries
• The ability to learn fast and quickly master new technologies
• Experience working on high quality consumer products
• Proven track record of operating highly-available systems at significant scale
• Ability to travel for a company offsite every quarter
