Community Manager (San Antonio)

Launch Pad is a growing web of collaborative workspaces, a global startup ecosystem network, and a venture fund focused on momentum markets for startups and big businesses alike. We were drawn to San Antonio because of its soul and strong entrepreneurial community; as a company, we believe that great companies can be born and grow in any city, not just on the coasts. We are looking for a full-time Community Manager who is passionate about supporting San Antonio’s entrepreneurs, professionals, creatives, and local startups. As our Community Manager, you'll represent Launch Pad in San Antonio and help us support and grow our community both before pre and post-opening our doors in March of 2020.

Responsibilities; Pre-Opening

Community Engagement, all done in coordination with our Head of Community Engagement:
-Assist Head of Community Engagement to manage and work directly with the Launch Team
-Build brand awareness throughout the city of San Antonio through attending community events on Launch Pad’s behalf
-Generate and maintain partnerships with local community leaders, businesses, non-profits
-Plan and produce at least one community-focused, Launch Pad-sponsored event before opening

-Work with an internal marketing team to influence the direction of all paid advertising, audience targeting, and local marketing initiatives
-Engage with local marketing channels to increase brand awareness and product offerings
-Help generate or give feedback on any marketing material

Sales, all done in coordination with our Head of Community Engagement:
-Achieve agreed upon sales targets
-Assist in managing the sales pipeline from start to close, engaging with potential members every step of the way
-Support in the creation of promotional campaigns and tracking their success rates
-Facilitate tours of the space (when possible considering the buildout schedule)
-Be able to answer any questions or concerns regarding our product offerings - you’ll be an expert in all things Launch Pad!

-Be our on-the-ground operational support throughout the space buildout

Responsibilities; Post-Opening

Community/Member Experience:
-Plan and execute regular community-building events at Launch Pad ie: Meetups, member lunches, educational events
-Work closely with our Social Media Manager to contribute to social media, outreach, newsletters, as well as explore possible partnerships
-Maintain a positive relationship with all members and create outlets to showcase support
-Work with Launch Pad Management’s Business Development & Operations Associate to understand member experience and ways to improve member satisfaction

-Present, promote and sell Launch Pad’s coworking and office options
-Follow Launch Pad’s sales process, complete necessary tasks/activities on time
-Ready to hustle and work beyond the process if necessary to close leads
-Achieve agreed upon sales targets
-Be outgoing and represent Launch Pad in the broader San Antonio community to help recruit new members
-Report to the Head of Business Development on a daily basis until revenue goals are achieved

-Create mutually beneficial partnerships in the community to benefit members, support other San Antonio businesses, and increase brand awareness
-Manage all social media platforms for your location, including Facebook and Instagram
-Send monthly newsletters to members and the greater LP community in San Antonio
-Work with an internal marketing team to influence the direction of all paid advertising, audience targeting, and local marketing initiatives

-Oversee new members in setting up their member profiles in our member management software, Proximity, and move-in
-Ensure all members are set to be billed correctly on the first of every month and manage outreach to any members who have missed payments
-Troubleshoot any member concerns and make sure Launch Pad is “work ready” every day
-Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the space
-Orient first-time members and short-term visitors; make people feel welcome and at home
-Be available to members in person, via phone, and e-mail
Weekly reporting to Launch Pad Management’s Head of Operations for goal setting, check-in, and troubleshooting

-Self-starter who is comfortable working remotely for a larger team
-Customer-facing experience or service industry experience
-Tech-savvy; comfortable working with web-based technologies, which include Nutshell, Asana, Google Suite, Slack, and Proximity (our member management software)
-Fluent in both English and Spanish
