About the Role:

As Landed grows, so does our need to better measure, track, gather, and analyze data. We’re excited to be expanding to new partner schools and becoming more data-driven in efforts to tell the Landed story in new markets. In order to accomplish this you'll be the teammate focused on sales operations and marketing data analysis to accelerate how effective and efficient your teammates are at achieving their objectives. You will be joining a passionate, motivated group of people, working together to bring Landed to new communities far and wide. You will report to the Manager of Employer Partnerships. This role is based in our San Francisco office.

Your primary objective is to help structure and make useful the processes and data flows that power your team. This involves coordinating both within the team you're on and with other teams at Landed to identify opportunities to improve our programs, structure and update data, and becoming an expert on the systems we use to manage operations.

This role is ideal for a data-savvy people person who understands the needs of business development, sales, marketing, and communications to a quickly growing company. The result of this work: significantly more educators on a path towards financial security, allowing them to commit to the profession and communities they love.

As a Expansion Operations Analyst you will:

Drive Business Development Workflow Optimization. Coordinate, design and manage sales workflows to ensure our communication with prospective employer partners motivates them to action. This will involve setting up email sequences to drive partnership sales and ensuring educators who sign up to work with Landed from events are properly inputted and validated so our team can get them into homes. You’ll help answer questions like “How can we optimize sales automation tools in our CRM, Hubspot, to increase our top-of-the-sales-funnel new employer partnerships leads?” You’ll be responsible for making sure Landed’s primary growth partners -- the employers of our potential homebuyers -- are being properly engaged when your teammates are not meeting them face-to-face.

Own Growth Data Analysis. You’ll spearhead identifying trends in data across the team, especially in the partnership sales process, to answer questions like: “What are the trends in our data that we should refer to on a regular basis to inform our business development and partnerships efforts? What partner employers should we prioritize next for outreach? What impact are our products having on the communities we are serving? What metrics within our company database can we use to authentically tell a story about our impact?” You’ll also lead analysis to help us identify how daily operations and special projects are going.

Drive Data Maintenance. You’ll oversee collection and update methods for our potential partner employer database, ensuring uniformity, validation, and clean-up on an ongoing basis. Without this, our outreach and launch efforts across the entire company would come to a standstill.

Own Process Improvements. By creating dashboards using SQL to track data across business development and sales functions, and helping with automation needs through the use of tools like Zapier, you’ll help your teammates find ways to more efficiently and effectively meet business objectives. You’ll identify and suggest processes that remove obstacles, reduce dependencies, and ensure data rigor. This can include integrating the reporting and dashboards you create for our partnerships expansion work into other tools used at Landed. You’ll help answer questions like “What can we automate in our Partnerships Expansion systems that is not yet automated? How could our event signup process be improved to make the experience better both internally and externally?"

Lead Collaboration. You’ll be the “data ambassador” for our Partnerships Expansion work, collaborating with other teams at Landed to own parts of the company’s data work relevant to our team. You’ll manage processes, workflows, and email operations in our CRM, HubSpot, in collaboration cross-functionally.

We think you’ll be great for this role if...

You have 4+ years of work experience and previous experience in operations, sales/account management, or data analysis.

You are organized and naturally good at keeping multiple projects on track simultaneously.

You have experience using SQL or a strong willingness to learn, and are comfortable using a broad range of technical tools.

You have a comfort and a willingness to learn our systems (HubSpot, Slack, Mode, etc), and use data regularly in your role.

Your natural mode is to be positive.

You're good-natured and enjoy spending time with a diverse group of people both inside and outside of work.

This is a full-time, exempt role based in San Francisco, CA. The salary range for this position is $85,000-$105,000 with equity at a high-profile, Series A start-up.
