  • Maintain and improve the availability, performance, scalability and efficiency of the services by implementing monitoring, automation, redundancy, capacity and business-continuity planning
  • Set up monitoring dashboards, alerts, log management, and other security operations capabilities by utilizing industry-standard tools
  • Support the implementation of new security solutions, participate in the creation and maintenance of policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures
  • Support the enforcement of security policies across the organization
  • Conduct vulnerability audits and assessments
  • Prepare and execute security test plans, and assess security control effectiveness
  • Work with stakeholders across enterprise to ensure compliance with security policies, standards, best practices and guidelines
  • Provide rapid troubleshooting, remediation, and root cause analysis of Cloud and build pipeline environment issues
  • Responsible for Cloud Security, including instance, container, cloud and network security
  • Automation and development of operations tools, application dashboards
  • Troubleshoot issues and participate in on-call support, ensuring the stability and performance of the production environment


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent degree and/or work experience
  • Passion and talent for advanced scripting and automation (e.g. Python, Bash, etc)
  • Expertise in Linux/Unix system administration
  • Hands-on Configuration Management experience (e.g. Chief, Ansible, etc)
  • Experience with Metrics, Monitoring, and Alerting tools (e.g. Nagios, Cactis, NewRelic, Logstash, Splunk, etc)
  • Experience in supporting Web Applications (e.g. Django, Nginx, Apache, Tomcat, etc)
  • Experience in support/troubleshooting/operations of relations and NOSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, MySQL, etc)
  • Strong familiarity of AWS’ standard set of services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, E/ALB, IAM, CloudWatch, Route53)
  • Strong understanding of networking technologies (e.g. firewalls, load balancers, subnets, route table, etc)
  • Experience with security, encryption protocols, vulnerability, and penetration
  • Hands-on experience with security compliance, policies, and procedures governing data/networks/application systems
  • Diverse experience configuring and maintaining security systems: IPS/IDS, SIEM, Firewalls, Vulnerability Scanners, SAST / DAST / IAST
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn everything you can about information security
  • Sense of urgency in relation to cyber-attacks
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts in simple, professional written English
  • Ability to work effectively and thrive in a start-up environment
