Senior UI/UX Designer

Responsibilities
- Lead the design of useful, usable, and desirable products in a team environment. Work with the founders in design planning and goal creation
- Create user-centered designs by working backwards from the customer, utilizing customer feedback, market analysis, and usability findings
- Use business requirements and market research to assist in developing use cases and high-level requirements
- Develop personas, customer journey maps, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes
- Design the architecture, interface and interaction flow of services and experiences
- Craft, pitch and validate long-term design strategies. Successfully present designs to product leadership
- Continually iterate and evolve the way we design for and learn from our customers
- Chart a course for yourself and others in ambiguous situations. As the company grows, lead a team of designers in the future

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of industry experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar UX-related role
- 7+ years of experience creating prototypes or highly detailed wire-frames for complex web applications and/or workflows
- 5+ years of experience working in direct collaboration with product managers, developers, and stakeholders for implementation of designs
- An online portfolio demonstrating samples of enterprise work and UX deliverables (wireframes, journey maps, personas) is required to apply for this role
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
- Experience with designing pages and visualizations for data analytics
- Demonstrated history of acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research)
- Experience with UX design for complex workflows for technical customers
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
- Experience in ownership of projects and communicating timelines and executing independently
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, Framer, or similar
- Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS etc.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent degree
