Kensho is the first science-backed holistic health discovery platform and provider network
Product Lead (for holistic health startup)$80k – $120k • 0.25% – 1.0%
Kensho Health is the first science-backed holistic health discovery platform and provider network.
We’re on a mission to make the world a healthier place by expanding access to holistic health with deeper research, stronger provider curation, and better technology.
We’re proud to be backed by some of the best investors in the business: Female Founders Fund, Crosscut VC, and Evolve, and built by the founding teams of Instagram, Facebook, Airbnb, Glossier, Warby Parker, and Simple.
Since opening our beta we’ve helped tens of thousands of people explore holistic health, more than quadrupled our highly-vetted provider community, acquired the world’s largest holistic health network, New World Native, and approval rating of 9.3, while the average user spends upwards of 10 minutes per session.
We are looking for an innovative, forward-thinking, highly-skilled Product Lead to lead Kensho in shipping a product our customers love. The role will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team, including the company’s co-founders, Engineering, Design, and Growth to build, measure, and ship a strong product that balances short-term goals with long-term vision. You’ll also be charged with implementing and managing customer feedback channels for RAPID feature prioritization and roadmapping.
When it comes to Product, you’re all about process. You’re fanatical about prioritization and constantly looking for ways to refine by testing your hypotheses. You’re an all-arounder with a laser-focus on establishing market fit by understanding customer problems and how to design, test, build and deploy solutions to those problems. You’re comfortable driving engineering sprint priorities, writing user stories and maintaining backlogs.
Our ideal future teammate is proactive, and self-motivated, with a keen ability to inspire. You’re a jack-of-all-trades who thrives in a dynamic environment and above all, you’re hungry to make a change and build something that will outlast yourself, and if we’re successful, help people think about their health and lives more holistically, treating the root cause by considering mind, body, and spirit.
What You’ll Do
Implement a repeatable process for shipping on time, using the available resources
Put yourself in the shoes of Kensho customers first and foremost
Partner with Engineering and Design to help translate work from design files to Trello tickets into code that delivers a product our customers love
Identify key areas throughout the product that can be enhanced, justifying your recommendations with research and inspiration, balancing both user, design and business goals, and continually striving for improvements across the entire customer experience, leveraging Rapid Product Development (RPD)
Bring us to launch and beyond by implementing a repeatable process for shipping on time, using the available resources.
Form, test, and measure hypotheses by implementing the systems and tools needed to validate and refine
Make decisions based on evidence and data
Keep us honest and focused – there’s no ego here; call BS when strategy or design run the risk of veering off course from that which would directly affect our core KPIs
Maintain a deep understanding of our users – both holistic health providers and their clients – and the problem(s) we are solving for them.
Drive user research and the distillation of the this data into actionable insights and product improvements
Exercise curiosity and mastery of our competitive landscape, with one eye in the sky, evaluating the alternatives our users have — both their strengths and their weaknesses — ever better than our competitors themselves do.
Contribute to organizational learnings and process improvement
