SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE: CAPITAL MARKETS
Location: Calgary AB, Canada
POSITION SUMMARY:
Katipult is looking for a self-motivated, finance professional who is passionate about technology and keen to join a company transforming the global capital markets. We are recruiting for a Sales Development Rep, Capital Markets to drive our business development process, assume challenging tasks, and collaborate with our globally distributed sales and technology teams. If you are seeking an exciting career in a rapidly evolving market we want to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generate new sales leads and nurture inbound sales inquiries
Participate in the development of lead generation tools and prospecting techniques.
Stay current on trends and topics in financial capital markets and our target customers.
Manage business development -convert leads to prospects, prospects to opportunities
Work with VP of Product; collect and validate target customer requirements
Document activities in a CRM system leads, contacts, interactions, appointments, documents, etc.
Deliver presentations to prospective clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years work experience in Investment Banking, Wealth Management, or Equity Capital Markets
Undergraduate degree in Business and/or an MBA
Enrollment or completion of CFA/CPA designation and/or Completion of Canadian Securities Course is an asset
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Solid work ethic with an ability to be flexible and creative.
Experience with digital sales and marketing tools: HubSpot, Salesforce, DiscoverOrg, LinkedIn, Slack, Google Apps etc.
Understanding of software technology sales process.
Capability to grasp client challenges, and requirements and correlate how Katipult can address and resolve.
Flexible, team player, open to changing responsibilities and strategies
Self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a geographically distributed team
Positive can-do attitude and tireless work ethic. Driven and self-sufficient
