As the first formal recruiter at Kasa, you will be responsible for assuring that we're finding the best people for every role. We're onboarding new people nearly every week across all departments, so we're looking for someone who wants to dive deeply into finding the best person for every role, while also working across the company to understand our culture and what kind of people are a great fit.

**Who We Are:**

Kasa is enlightened hospitality: home-like luxurious apartments, tech-enabled seamless check-in, and personalized virtual service; all at a great value relative to accommodation alternatives. We want our guests to not just stay with us, but truly settle into our Kasa's while traveling.

Unlike a typical hotel, our rooms are inside luxury apartment buildings and use connected devices to provide a seamless virtual check-in experience. Instead of a front desk, we operate 24/7 virtual customer support that is more knowledgeable, attentive and personalized than a traditional hotel. Our team might be out of sight, but our guests are never out of mind.

We currently have Kasa units in 18 markets across six states and are expanding into many more each month.

**The Job:**
You will be responsible for the top of the hiring funnel, from creating job descriptions to sourcing candidates to narrowing the pool to a select group of quality candidates for interviews.

- Work with heads of departments to write job descriptions
- Source candidates with inbound and outbound sourcing
- Screen resumes and cover letters for fit
- Conduct phone screens and surveys to determine candidate fit
- Schedule interviews and manage candidates through the entire hiring process
- Assist the People Operations department with onboarding and HR functions
- Help organize and execute culture and team bonding events for the whole company

**Who We’re Looking For:**
- 1-3 years experience with recruiting and hiring team members
- You have great oral and written communication skills
- You are highly organized and detail oriented, you love dotting the i's and crossing the t's
- You are passion about building great teams of people
- You're excited by the idea of working for a fast-paced, growing company
- You're proactive by nature and can act decisively when needed
- You're lighthearted and can handle stressful situations with a calm and positive demeanor
- You enjoy technology and you're eager to learn new systems and platforms
