We are seeking an intern with great communication skills to assist our team with a mix of Business Development and Marketing initiatives. We believe great internships don’t involve coffee runs. Your work will have a direct impact on our business and provide valuable experience for your career.

Cake (joincake.com) is the easiest way to discover, share, and store your end-of-life preferences. We are a Boston-based, venture-backed, early-stage technology company that’s making end-of-life planning easier. Most people view planning as daunting, confusing, and scary – something to avoid. Cake is changing this notion by employing human-centered design to ease users through the planning process.

Our platform engages consumers, clinicians, and providers to keep everyone on the same page. We’re already working with some of the biggest players in healthcare and insurance, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA, Harvard Pilgrim, and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Cake is one of BuiltInBoston’s “50 Tech Startups to Watch in 2018.” We are winners of MIT Hacking Medicine, TEDMED, and Project Entrepreneur, and received press in publications like The New York Times, BBC, Forbes, The Huffington Post, and The Boston Globe.
