Overview

Located in Hong Kong, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for finding and closing new leads. These leads may come from inbound marketing efforts and through your own efforts in seeking new opportunities. Working closely with the Customer Success team based in Singapore, you will own the end to end sales pipeline from lead generation, follow up and closing.

  1. Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to calling, giving demos & closing

  2. Experiment with different outreach methods (i.e. networking events, door to door marketing, partnerships, cold calling) and content to identify successful strategies

  3. Identify quality inbound leads to prioritize client onboarding and conversion

  4. Develop and implement retention and upselling methodologies designed to increase existing business

  5. Uncover growth opportunities including new customers and route to market strategies for ipaymy

  6. Maintain a deep understanding of ipaymy’s platform to meet and speak with customers about the most relevant features/functionality for their specific business needs

  7. Collaborate with product and operations team to address and fulfill clients' needs

*Requirements: *

  • You will be working with a remote team - you must be comfortable working on your own and be self-motivated
  • Experience working in a Sales environment, ideally in a B2B context
  • An entrepreneurial mind-set with a hunger to succeed
  • Ability to 'hunt' out new opportunities
  • Strong teaming/interpersonal skill
  • Experience working with SME customers
  • Must be currently living in Hong Kong and not require visa Sponsorship
  • English and Cantonese speaking

Salary: HKD 20,000 - HKD 26,000 per month + comission
