e-Commerce Account Manager$45k – $60k
This position requires experience with ecommerce, including technology, software, SaaS or a related field with a knowledge of consultative sales techniques. Prospecting, lead generation, developing new relationships within the space and being a flexible and motivated team player are also imperative. If you possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal and can share how you would help drive our solution to the next level - we would like to meet you.
This position requires a self starter. You will not be responsible for managing a team - your focus will be on driving your desk and closing deals. We're looking specifically for an individual who is passionate about fashion, apparel and home goods (this are our strongest markets). Experience Required -
Experience in e-commerce/IT industry required (5+ Years)
Experience in phone bank/field sales required (5+ Years)
Some technical knowledge/experience required. Must understand the functionality of APIs and simple integrations.
Experience in creating marketing materials and media campaigns
BA/BS degree preferred - but not necessarily required based on relevant work experience.
Duties to include but not limited to:
Aggressively pursue monthly/quarterly conversion target list
Have the necessary skills to follow up on large list of leads and touch clients throughout the entire sales cycle
Engage and qualify all inbound sales leads
Must be comfortable having a higher level technical conversation with platform developers and integrators
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize workflow
Establish relationships with existing strategic partners and maintain relationships with key company contacts
Establish new relationships with strategic partners and negotiate terms of relationship
Attend and exhibit at trade shows and networking events
Provide detailed notes on all client activity and provide weekly report-backs to executive team
Contribute to and/or enhance existing technology offering
