Role: Senior Front End Engineer
Key Result Areas

1. On-time and in budget development of technology products
2. Ensuring key metrics are met such as scalability, uptime, quality assurance, enterprise security, response time, innovative functionality, animation among others
3. Collaborate with Product Manager, Backend / Server Team and UI Designer to improve user engagement / utilization and new user (and client) acquisition

Background & Experience:
Essential

1. Candidates with 3+ years of experience in React.js, Node.js & Javascript and having developed mobile browser sites with demonstrable achievements and strong academic background; Understanding of PWA (Progressive Web Apps)
2. Essential technical skills include: a. Mastery of React.js, Node.js & Javascript development b. Understanding of javascript animation libraries for game development and animation such as babylon.js, WebGL, phaser,js and others c. Strong knowledge of user interface designing patterns d. Deep understanding of UI Kit e. JSON, XML based data parsing f. Understanding of memory management, mobile browsers, network connectivity including offline data g. Published at least 2 mobile browser sites & Progressive Web Apps – enterprise and consumer apps h. Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, DOM & Canvas i. Experienced on using tools like Git & SVN for version control for application code and review j. Working experience on mobile analytical tools such as Firebase and Google Analytics k. Deployment & infrastructure management on AWS l. Understanding & experience with ASP .NET, MS SQL and SQL databases

Roles Responsibilities:

1. Driving full stack development by focusing on the technology architecture, database structure, logic & algorithms and user experience to achieve the specific objectives of our technology offerings
2. Manage coding and testing through the entire product development lifecycle; Owning the product development process from start to finish with clearly defined objectives, managed through an efficient process
3. Collaborating with the product manager, content, design, marketing and business teams
4. Having a clear line of sight and understanding of the business strategy, business model and the learning & development industry
5. Being able to identify new ways to leverage technology and also identifying newer and more viable technologies to replace existing technology standards
6. Having an eye for detail and being quality conscious in terms of sticking to a process, checking for code and design
7. Prioritize accessibility work, and manage the backlog of features using Jira. Estimate, implement, and build features while ensuring that you’re working on the highest priority things
8. Review existing product features and provide feedback to make them more compatible with assistive technologies. Provide technical direction and expertise on the design of new features
9. Ensure we ship well-crafted products at a timely pace
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills articulate and able to communicate effectively at all levels
11. Excellent team player, ability/experience of working on 2-3 projects in parallel is needed.
