Insent is looking for a kick-ass senior backend engineer to our super fast-growing team. As a senior BE engineer, you will be responsible for architect and contribute to the development of the core services of Insent. You will work very closely with the CTO and other senior members of the engineering team

Engineers work cycle at Insent
As a member of the Insent Engineering team, your core responsibility is to translate defined business requirements and goals into modules/features in the Insent product. This will involve direct and continuous collaboration with multiple stakeholders including Executive Leadership, Customer Success (who receive direct feedback from customers), Product Managers, and Designers.
You will be expected to design and architect solutions for features/modules you own, making trade-offs necessary to balance long-term aspects of the platform, such as security, stability, efficiency, and scalability, and while keeping in mind week-on-week agility. You will also perform code reviews of other peers, mentor and guide junior developers.
Experience / Skill required
- 4+ years of developer experience, with 2+ years in Node JS & MongoDB.
- Strong background in AWS and microservices architecture is a bonus
- Understanding and experience of using CI/CD tools is a major plus
- Experience architecting highly scalable solutions is a plus
Hiring Process
We will do a quick screen of your resume. If we find you to be a good fit, we will invite you to a short call with the Engineering team.
After the call, if we find alignment, we will move you to the next phase. You will be given a problem statement to solve which will primarily involve some architecture and coding. We never hire anyone without seeing their code. So this is a mandatory step. The assignment phase will be a collaborative activity where we hope to connect with you frequently during the process. This phase could take 2-5 days, depending on how much time you can devote to the exercise.
If you do well in the assignment, we will make an offer almost immediately within a day.
