Senior Backend Developer - Kotlin/Dropwizard

Job Description
We are looking for Kotlin developers with 36 to 48 months of software development experience. Primary focus will be to implement backend server applications in Kotlin. Developers with very good experience Java/SpringBoot technology can also apply.

Responsibilities

• Developing Kotlin based backend applications
• Delivering well written Microservices and REST APIs: API Definitions, end-to-end service design and implementation
• Writing good quality, modular, reusable, performant, well documented, unit-tested code

Mandatory Skills

• Kotlin, Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Dropwizard skills. Must have worked on one or more of these technologies at least for 24 to 36 months hands-on
• Strong coding/programming & application development experience
• Good understanding of Microservices, Spring Boot or DropWizard
• Good knowledge of working with relational databases such as MySQL and Postgresql
• Good knowledge on object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
• Professional, precise communication skills
• Working knowledge of Git

Optional Skills

• Knowledge of working with cloud environments such as AWS
• Knowledge of DevOps tools & practices

Educational Qualifications and Experience

• B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech in Computer science/Information science/Information Technology
• 36 to 48 months of hands-on experience in Kotlin/Java/JEE & Spring Boot/Dropwizard technology
