Lead Engineer

Innovative Health Diagnostics (IHD) is an FDA approved, CLIA certified lab. We empower every person by providing access to accurate, clinical testing, when and where it matters most.

IHD services include fertility and in vitro fertilization (IVF) testing; FDA donor testing for families completing surrogacies; COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and antibody testing; and a robust pipeline of at-home testing for autoimmune disease, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, genetics, hormones, infectious disease, and women’s health.

We are hiring a hands-on Lead Engineer to run our engineering team. You will build and maintain software, develop new features and own the code for a high growth lab at the cutting edge of medical technology.

You will lead a cross-functional, remote scrum team in the engineering department. You will plan, develop, test, deploy, and monitor your code. You will be hands-on every step of the way. Most importantly, you will be given the opportunity to learn, innovate and be challenged with problems that require thinking outside the box and consistency.

Duties:

• Build new software to support our partner initiatives and consumer facing website
• Drive software through all stages of development
• Automate a number of manual processes across our company
• Work with engineers and our lab professionals to deliver a high quality experience
• Willing to jump in an tackle any engineering task with high quality code at a speed that befits a high growth company

Qualifications:

• 6+ years software engineering experience
• BS in computer science or equivalent work experience
• Proficient in React, Nodejs, SQL, AWS
• Proficient in writing automated tests while building features

Pluses:

• Familiar with HIPAA, HL7
• Familiar with HTML, CSS, Javascript, Material UI
