This renowned company has always been at the forefront of client-ready solutions for OEM customers. In their quest to becoming a leading digital force, the organisation is currently reshaping standards for the entire automotive service industry by launching and scaling a state-of-the-art innovation hub in Berlin.

Their first flagship product leverages Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, and Big Data to automate a core process for automotive OEMs and reboot decision-making around claims management. The bold vision for the center is to not just accelerate innovation for their partners but to continuously enlarge their own digital product offerings. 

They are undergoing significant expansion and are looking for an Integration/ETL Engineer (m/f/x) for the Berlin innovation center to take the systems and data integration of the most influential global OEMs onto the AI platform to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

-Drive the integration of customers’ systems and data with the company’s advanced claims management platform, ensuring to deliver a high-quality product 
-Understand the customers’ systems as well as data sources and develop an Integration/ETL strategy with these sources
-Perform data modeling to meet the customers’ data needs
-Take ownership of the delivery of the product to customers
-Act as a vital conduit between the company and customers
-Become one of the company’s key actors in Proof of Concepts 
-Work with technical and non-technical teams to identify data flow and system needs
-Develop and report metrics to monitor the performance of systems/data integrations 
-Drive the development of processes, methodology and thought leadership around integration & ETL
-Shape the integration team culture while facilitating best-practice sharing

Key Requirements:

-Minimum of 1 year and up until 3-6 years experience in designing, delivering and maintaining ETL solutions and/or system integrations or related areas such as data engineering, data mining and business intelligence engineering
-Experience working with or great interest in different ETL tools such as IBM Informatica, DeelBoomii, MuleSoft, Oracle, etc.
-General software engineering expertise in JVM language (ideally Scala) 
-Sound understanding of software / solution / data architecture 
-Experience with Databases, SQL, Data Warehousing
-Ideally have experience working with complex data domains (ie. claims, insurance, payment, finance, warranty, IoT, ...)
-Have a passion for data-intensive, large-scale, complex software products
-Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders (such as partners and clients)
-Experience in BI / Data Analysis is a plus
