Everyone is talking about no-code software these days. There are thousands of applications helping the business user BUILD software or integrate technology into a tech stack. Automaton is first to market with a solution to help the business users RUN and manage their tech stacks. While we've got a solution that serves any market, we've focused on the Marketing and Sales Tech stack (the largest market segment served least by IT and Engineering) first.
We were a TechStars Seattle 2019 company, and have other great investors. We've been featured in GeekWire, PitchBook and Microsoft for Startups. Because of these big customer wins, we are currently on a trajectory like Zapier and MailChimp where we can build this massive category and not need additional funding.
Our product is technically hard - delivering a drag and drop testing framework in a way that makes sense to business users is hard. We've also built a freemium model and open source frame work to speed our integration and custom integration capabilities. Our technical co-founder, Eric Peterson, has built this incredibly hard platform with quality, uptime and scale core to everything, based on the principle he learned in 8 years at Tableau.

We'd rather have smaller, better team. Our ideal candidate was probably a junior engineer at an incredible company, who grew into managing a team or teams but still writes code. They've been through an acquisition and while they love their team and product, they'd like to have a bigger role earlier in a fast growing company. For the right candidate, we are willing to accommodate a longer transition or a moonlight/advisor to FTE.
Day in the life:
This is a full stack role - you'll spend 50% of time planning,writing stories, managing the team and validating code of the team, and 50% fo the time writing code.
