WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You are a master relationship builder, sales strategist, and creative problem solver. You exhibit high emotional intelligence and professionalism at all times and are a true consultative business partner with your clients. You serve as a “trusted advisor” to clients, not just selling company products and services. You have a strong track record of sales success in the SaaS/Cloud software market and a clear process for building and nurturing a book of business. As a growth-stage startup company, we are looking for team members with a pioneering spirit who are ready to build the next great company in Agtech.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• As "trusted advisor", sell and close new business
• Develop and achieve sales targets
• Full sales cycle responsibility, leads all aspects of the sales process, calling upon others to assist in solution development and proposal delivery, as needed, or as directed by management
• Develop strategies to engage prospective customers
• Identify appropriate stakeholders and decision makers
• Proactively manage customer satisfaction by anticipating potential service problems, and monitoring satisfaction
• Assist with the customer on-boarding process and ensure key usage hurdles are met
• Maintain detailed pipeline status in salesforce.com
• Escalate appropriately for executive-level assistance and technical support on deals
• Attend trade shows, as necessary, for customer meetings and prospecting

YOUR SKILLS
• 3+ years of software sales experience
• Customer-focused approach, tailoring solutions to particular customer circumstances
• Experience selling into mid- and large-size accounts
• Solid understanding of the Cloud / SaaS software market and how to help customers transition from analog / manual processes
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to influence and lead people
• Excellent writing, presentation and listening skills
• Excellent pipeline management skills and discipline in record-keeping
• Independent self-starter

WHAT SETS YOU APART
• Bachelor of Science -technology and or -business related
• Experience with Agtech and specialty crop industry
• 1+ years of experience in salesforce.com
• Familiarity with hosting webinars, video teleconference-based sales calls, etc.
