Solutions to help you grow, by increasing leads, accelerating sales, and organizing your contacts
Senior Software Engineer, Sales
About the team
The Sales Product Group develops tools that save our customers time at every stage of their sales funnel, allowing them to sell more while working less. At a high level our tools can be grouped into four areas - finding leads, communicating with leads, closing deals, and managing the sales pipeline; all of which integrate nicely with HubSpot's CRM offering. The success of our customers is in large part defined by the efficiency of their sales process, so we take our jobs seriously and maintain a customer-first approach to ensure their needs are met.
Engineers in our group can expect to work in small, autonomous teams and have full ownership over their apps. Our back-end teams are supported by a top-class platform team offering easy access to technologies like HBase, MySQL, Kafka, and ElasticSearch to store, automate and process customer activities. React and Redux are utilized by our front-end teams to deliver fast, easy-to-use and exceptionally reliable user interfaces that offer access to the over 15,000,000 sales activities that flow through our systems daily.
We are actively looking for people who:
- Consistently work to deliver reliable, performant, well-tested code
- Value ownership in all facets of their projects
- Have a customer-centric attitude and develop opinions about the HubSpot product
- Strive to communicate with maturity and clarity
- Are serious about their career and technical growth
- Seek collaborative teams that work together to solve tough problems with empathy and creativity
