We’re searching for an Account Director to lead HRVST’s sales and client relationships.

The role.

We are looking for an independent, driven, and motivated self-starter to take the reins of our business development. The ideal candidate will have experience using a mix of marketing strategies to find new clients, identify decision makers, and build relationships. The Account Director would work closely with the Account Manager and Project Manager to nurture existing clients and their projects, while also learning what their business needs from us moving forward.

Responsibilities.

  • Develops, plans and implements business development tactics and strategies.
  • Always strives to accelerate and encourage the company's growth and success.
  • Implement new customer acquisition strategies and manage existing client relationships.
  • Collaborates with, coordinates and oversees a team of Account and Project Managers.
  • Establishes and manages long-term relationships with stakeholders.
  • Understands the requirements of existing customers and tracks, measures and analyzes commercial metrics using KPIs.
  • Manages and tracks expenditures, financial goals, and budgets.
  • Advises on the agency's structure so it has the capacity to serve client needs.
  • Translates data and observations into meaningful business insights, culturally relevant strategies and value propositions, along with brand, product, and service platforms.
  • Identifies relevant information issued from various kinds of sources (brand truths, audit, competitive analysis, content analysis and inventory) in order to unearth major product/service/content strategy outlines.
  • Assists in the pitch/proposals by conducting research and composing formal insights, competitive analysis and company deep dive for qualified leads.

Requirements.

  • 5+ years of experience in a client service role in an agency.
  • Solid understanding of agencies and creative processes.
  • Ability to inspire world-class creative.
  • Track record of building strong long-term client relationships.
  • Experienced people manager, demonstrating strong mentoring abilities.
  • Ability to design and deliver presentations with a creative flare.
  • Strategic, collaborative and progressive mindset.
