Overview:Reporting to the Manager of CRM Solutions, the Zendesk Developer and Administrator will help our Customer Support and Enterprise IT teams scale operations by supporting emerging business requests and driving new innovation across the platform. This will include contributing to ongoing projects, responding to operational requests, and solution selling game-changing ideas.

About the Role:As a critical member of the Fourth | HotSchedules Business Applications team, the Zendesk Developer and Administrator will support ongoing initiatives to expand our Zendesk footprint, and coordinate integration changes in connection with the company's high-visibility corporate re-branding initiative. Work may include data migration support via the Zendesk API, responding to Zendesk API requests and queries, Zendesk Explore dashboard build-out, task automation, and the development and maintenance of API integrations of varying complexity. You’ll partner with Finance, Sales Engineering, Customer Care and other teams to support day-to-day operations, new business needs and streamlining processes, with responsibilities that will include:

> Implementing, automating, and configuring integration of Zendesk within a variety of SaaS platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, 0365, Slack, Rally and other third-party applications > Creating custom API scripts to meet business reporting needs> Automating manual workflows and redundant processes> Developing API integrations with other platforms and web Services> Developing, deploying and testing solutions including integrations and cross functional workflows > Partnering with internal business units to understand and develop complex solutions that address company needs> Planning and leading projects to enhance business processes, regularly communicating progress, status, and roadmaps to key systems stakeholders> Documenting engineered solutions and workflows> Developing Zendesk Explore reports and dashboards

About You:> Strong, recent experience with Zendesk development and technical operational support> Application development knowledge (REST/JSON)> Experience automating and developing in scripting languages such as HTML5 and JavaScript > Experience managing ITSM tools (Service Now or similar)> Practical working knowledge of best practices around data and engineering security > Experience with SAML SSO provisioning and authentication management> Ability to troubleshoot HTTP requests, setup HTTP headers, URL parameters, post key-values or text> Experience working closely with Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success teams, supporting functions and processes that consistently deliver a high level of systems rigor and capability> Demonstrated experience analyzing business needs and requirements, aligning systems and processes to successfully achieve desired business outcomes> Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience documenting technical and business operational procedures, with the ability to communicate technical information and ideas to diverse audiences at all levels of the organization> Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and collaborate with cross-functional teams> Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills> Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to develop and maintain highly-productive cross-functional partnerships
