We are seeking an experienced leader of curriculum development, content development, and customer education delivery to build a customer education business that we are branding as “Fourth University”. The Fourth University team will create solutions at scale to deliver valuable knowledge via e-learning content and private instructor-led sessions. Reporting to the VP, Global Services, this management position requires experience and achievement in similar prior roles, preferably for tech and or services companies.
Businesses around the world rely on Fourth to share sensitive information safely and securely online – anywhere, anytime. This is an opportunity for the right person to create curriculum and content for our product portfolio to drive customer adoption of our industry leading Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
About the Role
Defining and implementing the instructional design methodology and curriculum development processes for Fourth UniversityIdentifying and prioritizing curriculum and content development activities with internal stakeholders from Services, Support, Product and other teamsOverseeing the development and publishing of engaging curriculum topics and related courseware and other learning content for online or instructor-led deliveryParticipating in the development of curriculum and content as a player-coachManaging a small team of instructional designers and course developersEstablishing and overseeing curriculum and content governance processesCoordination with Product Management, Product Development, Product Marketing and other teams to coordinate curriculum and content development activities with product release timelines.Coordination of Fourth University promotional activities with Stakeholder participation in selecting and configuring the Fourth University learning portalManaging 3rd party vendors or contractors as neededManaging the department budgetReporting on curriculum and content development and consumption metrics
Extensive experience as a Curriculum Designer, Instructional Designer or similar role, including significant, recent experience as a manager of these functionsExperience creating content and managing a content roadmapHands-on experience with Learning Management Software (LMS) or content delivery platformsExpertise with content authoring tools, including e-learning content authoring, video editing, image editing, and all Microsoft toolsStrong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and experience applying them to the development of software trainingAbility to write clear instructional copy
