About the Role:

We are hiring a rockstar Content and Community Manager to join our team! You will be the voice of Hoppin, telling the meaningful stories of our shadowing matches and inspiring others to join the movement. You’ll have the ability to adapt your voice accordingly to effectively reach our three distinct audiences: enterprise buyers, individual shadowers and hosts. As a category- creator, Hoppin is looking to establish itself as a thought leader and a trend-setter in the future of work.

Your specific duties include:

* Identify opportunities, activations, best-practices, and emerging tools to scale company objectives through content and community engagement.
* Develop and execute a weekly content calendar to engage our hosts, shadowers and prospective enterprise buyers.
* Craft creative, unexpected content, and identify compelling visuals that aligns brand storytelling.
* Write both short and long-form content and adapt to various Hoppin platforms and needs (e.g. from witty Tweets to well-researched, detailed blog articles on experiential learning).
* Develop brand assets for B2B marketing materials, such as client case studies.
* Write, design and execute email marketing campaigns.
* Develop and execute an overarching content strategy.
* Report on analytics and KPIs on various growth and performance metrics, and optimize strategy accordingly.
* Research campaigns to understand the best practices utilized by peers to create breakthrough content.
* Attend industry events to effectively establish thought leadership and communicate with shadowers and hosts to understand what drives them.
* Grow social media following, while engaging the existing community, with a unique content experience that brings the playful Hoppin brand to life.
* Monitor and engage with online communities (Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) to promote Hoppin, providing advice and resources where possible.
* Proactively identify gaps and improve the team’s current processes and tools.
* Help plan and execute quarterly Hoppin events from marketing materials to venue selection to day-of logistics.


* Self-motivated and entrepreneurial-minded is a must. We’re a lean team and expect everyone to be proactive problem solvers.
* At least 3-4 years experience creating content for an innovative product or service.
* At least 3-4 years experience in a Community Management or other customer-facing role.
* Self-starter personality and comfort with ambiguity; ideal candidates will have experience working in rapidly-changing environments and adapting and contributing evolving processes.
* Excellent communication skills with an ability to adapt voice based on audience.
* Strong understanding of SEO.
* Experience with content creation, brainstorming, ideation and execution.
* Ability to take a campaign from concept to execution with minimal input and guidance.
* Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.
* Flexibility working outside of normal hours in order to achieve goals.
* A multi-tasker with the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
* Background in copywriting and/or graphic design preferred.
